PHILOSOPHY
THE HOUSE
The House’s creative direction is led by the French - Italian American artistic duo Jayma Sacco and Paul Baret in collaboration with French feather artisan Maxime Leroy.
Described as a conversation between their multicultural influences and their combined savoir-faire, the pieces celebrate creativity and artisanal expertise.
SACCO BARET is widely recognized for its commitment to craftsmanship and its dedication to preserving the heritage of the French Metier d'Art (art craft) plumasserie.
Often exploring the limits through signature couture techniques, avant-garde designs and trompe l'œil illusions.
"We often hear our pieces referred to as wearable art, which inspires us to continue to explore the line between art and fashion"
SACCO BARET has had the honor of creating special limited edition pieces, notably for the the PALAIS DE TOKYO contemporary art center in Paris and the inaugural exhibition of the MAMO museum of modern art in Marseille. SACCO BARET was recognized internationally in Olivier Dupon’s book: Encore! The New Artisans, and by Condé Nast title VOGUE. Admirers of the house include Meryl Streep and Beyoncé Knowles.
